Before you book
What is RideRutz.com?
A global black car limousine services company specialising in hourly chauffeur service for corporations and worldwide gala events for celebrities and diplomats, with chauffeurs trained to a published protocol standard, in 107 countries on one reservation engine and one account.
How do I book?
On the reservation engine on any page: choose hourly or point to point, the city, the class, the date and hours or addresses; see the fixed rate; confirm. Or call, or WhatsApp dispatch, at any hour. Programmes and events are planned by a coordinator from a brief sent through the contact page.
Is the rate fixed?
Yes. Hourly rates and transfer fares are set before you confirm and include fuel, waiting, cleaning and gratuity; tolls and paid parking are itemised at cost. There is no surge. A rate changes only if the booking changes, and the new total is shown first.
What is the minimum for an hourly booking?
Two hours in most cities, three in a few; the engine shows the city's minimum. Beyond it, billing is to the quarter hour, and an engagement can be extended on the day at the same rate.
Where exactly does the chauffeur wait at the airport?
Wherever you chose at booking: inside the arrivals hall with a name board in your script, or at a named terminal door or car-service zone described on the confirmation. The chauffeur's name, number, vehicle and registration are sent as the aircraft taxis in; ramp-side at FBOs where permitted.
How are chauffeurs vetted and trained?
Background, driving-record and reference checks, a road assessment, and the RideRutz.com training and protocol programme - door drill, precedence, carpet timing, motorcade conduct, confidentiality - assessed on the road and refreshed annually. The standard is published on the chauffeurs page and every affiliate accepts it.
Are the chauffeurs discreet?
Every chauffeur signs a confidentiality undertaking covering everything seen and heard, carries no personal phone in the cabin, takes no photographs, uses no social media about the work and does not confirm a passenger's identity to anyone. A single breach is permanent removal.
Can you handle a gala with forty cars?
Yes. Multi-vehicle events are planned from the organiser's brief: an arrival schedule in carpet order, a staging plan walked with the venue, a car list, passes, and a coordinator on the organiser's radio calling every car; every car waits for the evening. The gala and event transportation page and the planning guide describe it.
Do you provide security drivers or bodyguards?
Security-trained chauffeurs - with defensive-driving, route and drill training who work inside a protection detail - yes, and protected vehicles on request. Close-protection officers, no; we introduce a licensed provider where one is needed. The guide on the difference explains how to decide.
Can an embassy or ministry open an account?
Yes. Missions and ministries hold accounts with their standing instructions - marques, flags, gate procedures, seating, currency - recorded once, an hourly chauffeur pool for visiting officials and monthly invoicing. Visits and delegations are planned by a coordinator from the programme.
Do you work in cities not listed on the destinations page?
Yes, by address, fulfilled through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network to the same written standard; the coordinator says plainly where a small city's fleet cannot meet a particular line.
What are the cancellation rules?
Changes and cancellations outside the city's window, stated on every confirmation, cost nothing. Inside it, the hourly minimum or the transfer fare is charged because the chauffeur and vehicle were committed. Planned programmes - events, roadshows, conferences - have their own windows and deposits stated in the written quote, longer for festival and summit weeks.
What if my flight is late or cancelled?
Nothing that costs you anything. Pickups follow the live arrival, waiting counts from the actual landing, and a cancelled flight is rebooked on the new flight number by dispatch at any hour.
What if the passenger cannot be reached on landing?
The chauffeur waits with the name board up, dispatch calls the booker and any alternative number on the profile, and the chauffeur stays within the waiting allowance and beyond it on the booker's instruction.
Can I book for someone else?
Yes. Enter the passenger's name and mobile number; both of you receive the confirmation and the chauffeur's details, and the passenger can message the chauffeur directly. Corporate, hotel and agency accounts are built for booking on behalf.
Which reservation engine do you use?
The BlaakLine web booker, a group business, embedded on this site. It holds fixed rates for 363 cities and confirms instantly; the brand shown inside the booker is the group's.
Do you tip the chauffeur?
No. Gratuity is in every rate and chauffeurs are trained to decline a separate tip. A client who wants to recognise a chauffeur may tell the coordinator.
Are child seats available?
Yes, fitted at no charge on request; state the ages at booking. An executive SUV is recommended for a family with luggage.
Can I get an invoice in my company's currency?
Yes. Corporate accounts are invoiced monthly in one currency of the client's choosing, with each journey shown in the local currency and the account currency and local taxes itemised.
How do I reach a person?
Dispatch, around the clock, at the number at the top of every page or on WhatsApp, for reservations and journeys in progress. Coordinators, through the contact page, within a working day, for accounts, programmes and events.
Reserve a chauffeur
Hourly or point to point, in any of the cities we work in. The rate is fixed before you confirm.
Choose hourly or point-to-point, pick the vehicle class and see the fixed rate before you confirm. Galas, motorcades and multi-vehicle programmes are quoted in writing: call 1-877-397-8699, WhatsApp the desk or send the brief.
What separates a chauffeur service from a car with a driver
The full standard our chauffeurs work to is published on the training and protocol page; what an hourly booking costs, and why, is in the rates guide.
Chauffeurs, not drivers
Every chauffeur passes a background check, a driving assessment and our protocol course - door drill, precedence, carpet timing, confidentiality - before the first engagement.
The hour is the unit
Corporate work is booked by the hour and directed by you. The car waits, follows, re-routes and holds - and the rate does not move when the schedule does.
Built for the carpet and the motorcade
Arrival windows, staging lanes, drop-off marks and a coordinator on the radio: the parts of an event that ride-hail apps and walk-up limos do not do.
Diplomatic discretion as standard
No branding on the car, no small talk unless invited, no photographs, no social media. What happens in the vehicle stays there.
One standard in every city
The vehicle classes, vetting and conduct are written down and applied by every affiliate, so the service in Doha matches the service in Geneva.
A desk that answers
A named coordinator for accounts and events, and a dispatcher awake in your time zone who can reach the chauffeur in seconds.
Flights, hotels and the ground, on one file
The RideRutz.com travel desk works with BookingWorldwide.net so a delegation, a production or a leadership team can have its flights, hotels and chauffeurs arranged together and reconciled on one invoice. The standard behind the standard

Association membership commits us and every affiliate to written standards on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle age and inspection, chauffeur vetting and conduct - the parts of the service a passenger cannot audit from the rear seat.
