Two specialities

Built for the hourly corporate day and the evening with a carpet

Most chauffeur companies are general. RideRutz.com was built around two kinds of work, and everything else on this site follows from them.

Hourly chauffeur waiting between a principal's meetings
For corporations

Chauffeurs by the hour, on account, in every city

A chauffeur and a vehicle at the company's disposal for as long as the day needs, directed by the passenger, at a fixed rate that does not move when the schedule does. Profiles, booking on behalf, policy rules, cost centres and one monthly invoice; roadshows, conferences and visiting clients planned by a coordinator.

Hourly chauffeur service Corporate accounts

For galas, celebrities and diplomats

The carpet, the motorcade and the protocol standard

Arrival windows to the minute, staging plans walked with the venue, a coordinator on the organiser's radio and every car waiting for the evening; precedence, flags and motorcade conduct for official visits; unbranded vehicles and a confidentiality undertaking for talent. Chauffeurs trained on a mock carpet and a mock motorcade before their first engagement.

How it works

Booked in two minutes, or planned from a brief

  1. Say what the day is

Hourly or point to point; the city, the class, the hours or the addresses. For a gala, a visit or a roadshow, send the brief instead.

  2. See the fixed rate

Fuel, waiting, cleaning and gratuity included; tolls and parking at cost; no surge. Programmes are quoted in writing within a working day.

  3. Meet the chauffeur

Fifteen minutes early, engine off, at the rear door; briefed on your name, your profile and the plan; silent unless spoken to.

  4. Direct the day

The car waits, follows and re-routes as the schedule changes; a coordinator on the radio for events; a dispatcher awake in your time zone.

The chauffeur standard

Published, so that you can hold us to it

Every RideRutz.com chauffeur - on our own fleet and on every affiliate that fulfils our bookings - has met the same written standard. Read it in full →

Why RideRutz.com

What separates a chauffeur service from a car with a driver

The full standard our chauffeurs work to is published on the training and protocol page; what an hourly booking costs, and why, is in the rates guide.

01

Chauffeurs, not drivers

Every chauffeur passes a background check, a driving assessment and our protocol course - door drill, precedence, carpet timing, confidentiality - before the first engagement.

02

The hour is the unit

Corporate work is booked by the hour and directed by you. The car waits, follows, re-routes and holds - and the rate does not move when the schedule does.

03

Built for the carpet and the motorcade

Arrival windows, staging lanes, drop-off marks and a coordinator on the radio: the parts of an event that ride-hail apps and walk-up limos do not do.

04

Diplomatic discretion as standard

No branding on the car, no small talk unless invited, no photographs, no social media. What happens in the vehicle stays there.

05

One standard in every city

The vehicle classes, vetting and conduct are written down and applied by every affiliate, so the service in Doha matches the service in Geneva.

06

A desk that answers

A named coordinator for accounts and events, and a dispatcher awake in your time zone who can reach the chauffeur in seconds.

FAQ

Before you book

What does RideRutz.com specialise in?

Two things: hourly chauffeur service for corporations - the car that stays with a principal for the day, on one account - and event and protocol transport for galas, celebrities and diplomats - the car at the carpet and in the motorcade, planned by a coordinator. Everything else on the site is built on those two.

How do I book an hourly chauffeur?

On the engine on this page: choose hourly, the city, the start time, the hours and the class; see the fixed hourly rate; confirm. Two-hour minimum in most cities, billed to the quarter hour beyond it, waiting and unlimited stops included.

Can you handle a gala or an official visit?

Yes. Send the brief or the programme through the contact page and a coordinator returns a written plan and quote within a working day: arrival windows, staging, car list, passes, a coordinator on the radio, and chauffeurs trained on the carpet and the motorcade.

What standard are the chauffeurs trained to?

The RideRutz.com training and protocol programme, published in full: vetting, door drill, precedence, carpet timing, motorcade conduct, confidentiality, and an optional security module - assessed on the road, refreshed annually, and accepted by every affiliate.

Is the rate fixed?

Yes. Hourly rates and transfer fares are set before you confirm and include fuel, waiting, cleaning and gratuity; tolls and paid parking are itemised at cost. There is no surge. A rate changes only if the booking changes, and the new total is shown first.

What is the minimum for an hourly booking?

Two hours in most cities, three in a few; the engine shows the city's minimum. Beyond it, billing is to the quarter hour, and an engagement can be extended on the day at the same rate.

Where exactly does the chauffeur wait at the airport?

Wherever you chose at booking: inside the arrivals hall with a name board in your script, or at a named terminal door or car-service zone described on the confirmation. The chauffeur's name, number, vehicle and registration are sent as the aircraft taxis in; ramp-side at FBOs where permitted.

How are chauffeurs vetted and trained?

Background, driving-record and reference checks, a road assessment, and the RideRutz.com training and protocol programme - door drill, precedence, carpet timing, motorcade conduct, confidentiality - assessed on the road and refreshed annually. The standard is published on the chauffeurs page and every affiliate accepts it.
